As part of Selangor AgroGreen 2023, organized by the Selangor State Department of Agriculture, KMK Agro Global conducted an educational session titled “Kenali Melon – Pengenalan Varieti Melon.” The initiative aimed to increase public awareness and technical knowledge about Malaysia’s melon varieties, cultivation practices, and agro-innovation potential.

The session, led by KMK Agro Global’s experienced agronomists, introduced participants to different rockmelon types, growth conditions, and modern cultivation techniques. It also covered key aspects of melon farming — including irrigation control, pest management, and post-harvest handling — to help farmers improve both yield and fruit quality.

Attendees, including local farmers, students, and agricultural officers, were given practical demonstrations and Q&A opportunities to better understand the technical aspects of premium melon production. The event fostered a strong spirit of knowledge-sharing and collaboration between KMK Agro Global and the state’s agricultural stakeholders.

Through Kenali Melon, KMK Agro Global reinforced its commitment to supporting Malaysia’s agricultural education and promoting awareness of high-value crops that contribute to the country’s food diversification and rural development.
